Setting administrators on your server

You can add and remove admins from your server's Players page in the control panel.

Admins are identified by Steam ID, which is a code or number that represents a Steam account. To find the Steam ID for a player, you can check the list of recent players on your server's Players page. Or, you can use a website like SteamID I/O. You need to use the SteamID64 in your list of admins. Other types of SteamIDs won't work.

Each admin entry also has a permission level, which is a number from 0 to 1000. Players can run commands equal to or above their permission level. This means a player with a permission level of 1000 can run no admin commands, and a player with a permission level of 0 can run all admin commands.

You can see a list of command permissions by running cp list from the server console.

You can see a list of console commands on the 7 Days to Die Wiki.

You can also edit your server's admin file manually, using FTP. The file can be found at .local/share/7DaysToDie/Saves/serveradmin.xml.
